The short version
- The calculators run entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent to us or stored by us. Inputs appear in the page address only so that you can share a result.
- We have no accounts, no comments and no newsletter, so we hold no profile of you.
- The site is funded by advertising from Google AdSense. If you are in the UK, EEA or Switzerland you are asked before any advertising cookie is set, and you can say no and still use everything here.

LayerTune is an independent publisher based in the United Kingdom and is the controller of personal data processed through this site. Contact: contact@layertune.com.
What is collected
Server and network logs
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads and, if you agree, to personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites. If you do not agree you may still see ads, but they will not be personalised using your data. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services, and you can control ad personalisation in Google's ad settings.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages and tools are useful, so we know what to improve. It records the pages you view, the site that referred you, your device type and your approximate location. For visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland it stays switched off until you agree in the consent message. Google describes how Analytics safeguards your data, and you can opt out everywhere with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
If you email us we keep your message for as long as needed to deal with it, and no longer than 24 months.
Cookies and your choices
Visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland see a consent message from Google's certified consent platform before any advertising or analytics cookie is set. You can accept, reject, or choose by purpose, and you can change your mind at any time with the "Privacy settings" link at the foot of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. The calculators and every page work the same whatever you choose.

International transfers
Cloudflare and Google process data in the United States and elsewhere under approved transfer mechanisms such as the UK-US data bridge and standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, and portability, and you can object to processing and withdraw consent. Email us to use any of these. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local authority in the EEA.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this page when the services we use change, and revise the date at the top.
