Filament
Filament temperature chart
Nozzle and bed temperatures by material, then by brand. Every row comes from the maker's data sheet or product page, linked so you can check it.
Look up your own brand first. Two brands of the same material can need very different settings. Carbon-fibre nylon is the clearest example: one maker recommends a bed at 80 to 100 °C, another says never go above 50 °C.

Using these numbers
- Begin in the middle of your brand's nozzle range. Print a temperature tower if you see stringing (too hot) or weak layer bonding (too cold).
- Faster printing needs more heat, because the plastic spends less time in the hotend. High-speed profiles often sit at the top of the range.
- Bed temperature is about the first layer sticking. Smooth PEI, textured PEI and glass behave differently, so treat the range as a starting point.
- ABS, ASA, nylon and polycarbonate give off fumes when printed. Follow the ventilation guidance in your filament maker's safety data sheet.
